Barb Rowland, partners with Suzanne Feese at PalmerHouse Properties
Barb partners with Suzanne Feese in the PalmerHouse Decatur Office. They work as a two-person team on all transactions to maximize service and value for all of their clients. In 2016, their first year as a team, Suzanne and Barb closed 66 Transaction, with a sales volume in excess of $18 million (more than doubling Barb's volume from 2015). They were the #2 agents company-wide for PalmerHouse Properties in 2016, out of more than 1500 agents. Suzanne was also recognized as the Top New Realtor of the Year by the DeKalb Association of Realtors in 2016.
Barb joined PalmerHouse Properties in 2011, when she founded Common Ground Real Estate and built the team and sales to be the #4 team in the DeKalb Board of Realtors for 2013. She sold the company in March 2015 and moved 100 yards down the street to PalmerHouse's Downtown Decatur office.
Barb's experience in the industry spans several decades starting when she was originally licensed in South Carolina at the age of 18. growing up, Barb's family owned a real estate firm in Miami Shores.
Barb's Leadership skills were developed over 20 years as an executive in the Railroad Industry. There, her background was in sales, marketing and in new business development. Barb understands the challenges of change during her time working in the corporate world, she experienced 11 personal moves and transfers.
Today, Barb is a decorated business owner and real estate professional. for two consecutive years (2011 and 2012), she was nominated as "Business Woman of the Year" by the Atlanta Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce and was voted "Best Real Estate Agent 2011" by readers of The Georgia Voice Newspaper. She has also won numerous Pinnacle Awards through the Dekalb Association of Realtors and has been a Top Producer in every brokerage that's held her license.
As a longtime owner and resident, Barb is the team guru for Downtown Decatur and has been affectionately referred to by her clients as the "Decatur Condo Queen." Our agents rely on her extensive knowledge of Atlanta's in-town neighborhoods.

Suzanne Feese, partners with Barb Rowland at Palmerhouse Properties
Suzanne Feese was named the Top New Realtor for 2016 by the DeKalb Association of Realtors, recognizing her as the new agent who closed the most transactions in 2016. She joined PalmerHouse Properties in December 2015.
Suzanne partners with Barb Rowland in the PalmerHouse Decatur office. They work as a two-person team on all transactions to maximize service and value for all of their clients. Suzanne and Barb focus on in-town real estate. Their 2016 sales occurred in Decatur, Druid Hills, Virginia Highlands, Candler Park, Avondale Estates, Old Fourth Ward, Tucker, West Midtown, Midtown, Duluth, Roswell, East Point, Lilburn and Canton.
Suzanne and Barb live in Downtown Decatur, in the same building as the PalmerHouse Properties Decatur Office. Suzanne also has lived in Morningside - Virginia Highlands, Peachtree Park and North Decatur in-town neighborhoods since 1980. She has also worked in Downtown and Midtown Atlanta for more than two decades.
Suzanne graduated as Valedictorian from Agnes Scott College (Decatur) in 1984 with a B.A. degree, double majoring in Astrophysics and Economics. She earned her law degree (J.D.) from Yale Law School in 1987. Following a one-year judicial clerkship with Hon. R. Lanier Adnerson III on the U.S. Court of Appeals, 11th Circuit. she joined King & Spalding law firm in Altanta. She worked as an associate and equity partner with K & S for more than two decades, specializing in tax (both transactional and litigation). At K & S, she chaired the tax group for a number of years, and also served as the hiring partner for the Atlanta Office.
Following her retirement from K & S in 2009, Suzanne spent the next five years traveling the world, learning to play golf, sharpening her photography and cooking skills, and volunteering. In other words, enjoying life after an extremely busy law career! She then moved to Decatur,met Barb (who sold her Decatur home) and embarked on a second career in real estate.
Suzanne was selected as one of the "Outstanding Young People of Atlanta" in 1999. She is a member of Leadership Atlanta Class of 2002. Se served on the Board of Trustees of Agnes Scott College from 2004 - 2012, including three years as Vice Chair. Suzanne also served on the board of the Atlanta Women's Foundation for six years and chaired the board of the Georgia Center for Children (now Georgia Center for Child Advocacy).
